About
hello! i’m Kate
Registered Nurse & Health coach
So glad you’re here! If you’re looking for support in understanding and optimizing your metabolic health, you’re in the right place.
For a long time, I didn’t realize the profound impact of metabolic health. As someone who struggled with weight since childhood (and still continues that struggle today at times), I often felt the focus was more on appearance than true well-being. My interest in health and nutrition grew, and I soon discovered the vital role of metabolic health and how current societal standards sometimes miss the mark.
My experience as a Registered Nurse on a cardiac unit further solidified the importance of metabolic health for me personally. It became clear that prioritizing my own metabolic well-being was crucial. This realization, combined with my desire to guide others towards genuine wellness, led me to specialize as a metabolic health coach. Now, I’m passionate about empowering you to understand your unique metabolism and make sustainable changes for better energy, weight, blood sugar, and overall vitality.
I believe nurturing your metabolic health shouldn’t be overwhelming. It’s about finding what works for you, making informed choices step by step, and celebrating every positive change. Think of me as your friendly guide – part nurse, part coach – here to simplify the often-complex world of metabolic well-being into actionable steps.
Looking forward to getting to know you and your metabolic health journey!

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS…
- I am a cat person by far. I love all animals, but love my two cats the most!
- I love to be outside in nature. Living in North Carolina has given me some of the best hiking trails and mountain views I’ve ever experienced.
- Self proclaimed coffee addict here. I love to check out new coffee shops where ever my trances take me, and taste new latte concoctions.
- I love to get lost in a good book. Either good old fashioned reading, or audiobooks (they count as “reading” as far as I’m concerned).
